Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Loretta Caravette
The second book in the "Tomorrow Girls" series, Run for Cover introduces Rosie, our narrator, Louise, Maddie, and Evelyn who run away from a boarding school in Canada. There is a war going on and the girls' parents have sent them to Alliance boarding school thinking they would be safe. The girls learn that the school is only interested in them because they can be used for ransom. So, without much preparation or planning, the girls run away. No sooner do they leave when they meet up with Ryan, Alfonso, and Drew, three boys who also attend the school. When the boys learn why the girls are out at such a late hour they decide to come along. Rosie isn't interested in three more people to worry about—especially boys. She is immediately suspicious of Drew. The group gets caught in a sudden downpour and run for cover to a remote cabin Drew finds. This makes Rosie suspect Drew might be working with the school; the cabin turns out to be a meeting place for the Alliance. The next morning, the group narrowly escapes discovery by the headmaster when they find a trap door under a conference table. Running through a long dark tunnel, they find themselves in the middle of an Alliance base camp. While drama and suspense are promising, the execution falls a little flat with Rosie's narration teetering between personal biases and over-reactions. Dialogue seems forced and disjointed. Readers will be slightly lost if they haven't read the first book. Reviewer: Loretta Caravette

    Awesome second book!

Usually I am disappointed by sequels because a lot of the time they are not as exciting. Not with this book! Run for Cover was just as good, if not better than the first book. I will definetely be reading the rest!

    Book Critick

Hey guys. Before i start i want to say something. I read the description posted by barnes and noble and i wouldnt neccassarily call them best friends. Louisa and maddie are maddie and evelyn are but louisa and evelyn arent really close and rosie isnt very fond of them but it does say she thinks louisa can be okay sometimes. Now i gave the first book five stars too because i am honestly in love with eva gray. Im only half way through this book and am giving it five stars without a second thought. And im really tough to go book shopping for or with if you know what i mean. I am interested in very little and it takes quite a good writer to get my attention. Thats all for this book.

    Love

Is there a movie? Because there has to be one!!!!! This book series was so good! The book makes you want to read more and more especially this one. The end leaves you hanging, which makes you want to read the rest of the series. This is the 2nd book out of 4. Either way it is very good. A must buy. P.S. if you want some more adventure, buy the whole series! You won't regret it!
