Cathy Glass' other books are about children she has fostered and includes herself and the experiences she has had. This book was not a bad read just not along the lines of her others. I have read them all, except the more or less self help books she wrote. I really love all the ones i read about her fostering experiences, this one containing no fostering only the tragic life of an abused woman. Horrible for anyone to experience, just not Cathy Glass' best written book. I would recomend as a decent read just be aware it is not about a child fostered.
