Meet the Author

I am a new author. Frustrated at trying to make a living as a voice over actress, I decided to pursue a hidden dream I have had since a child: to write! A couple of years ago, I tapped into those desires and my heart and mind reached forth together to find the solace and satisfaction to my being, that I crave and need.
I thrive on the outdoors and wildlife in all its wonder and glory up in the mountains, surrounded by trees and peaks hovering high above me. I hike. I ski. I snowshoe. I track the mountain lion, breathing the same air as they, communicating and appreciating their greatness. Animals have fed me with spiritual food all of my life that has filled me with adventure and purity of mind, body and spirit.
I live in the Susannah Pass Mountains, in West Hills, CA with my two feline friends - "Heathcliff" and "Rasputin." My goals? To continue my writing, and to keep involved with saving the wolf and other wildlife from human threats from greedy corporations and politicians. To preserve the land they need. To help make sure a balance is kept between man and beast.

The 3 books are just wonderful, very strong, exciting and original

Ms. Miller having the evil wolf Rasputin change from being the terror of the forest into the hero, makes the trilogy unique and very special. All the animals are so different, brave, afraid, dramatic, fearless, you name it.

I love old Rasputin. What a charactor

Mr. Mouse, the owl, hare the bear cub and all of the animals are so individual and have such terrific personalities and the writing is so good and I hope these 3 books become a movie or 2 or 3. The drawings are so beautiful and so many.

    Super-wolf

First Rasputin terrorizes the forest and the writer makes him so fierce and evil then come the changes and he becomes the hero of the forest. Great story and wonderful animal charactors. The graphics are the best.

The trilogy is really special, one of a kind

My family got such enjoyment out of all 3 books and my kids learned a lot about life in general in the process. Even a third party like animals sometimes gets through to kids better than just mom and dad saying it. We love the graphics, the covers, the animals, their personalities, everything.

    I just love old Rasputin

What a charactor. The relish and the glee of his evil ways is delightful, even when he is at his worst. I just love the writing and all the commotion of this pest.

Rasputin sees the evils of his ways

It was so interesting and surprising to see the old evil wolf Rasputin find the wolf cub and change his whole personality and actions. The writing is so good as he terrorizes the whole forest and then is gradually so different. All the animals have neat ways about them. I'm a member of the Sierra Club and right now the wolf's survival needs help from all of us. The graphics are stunning.

The mouse and Sasha and Mr. Owl and the duck do a good job not getting eaten up by Rasputin, but he sure is a scary old wolf. Back and forth they all go all over the forest until Rasputin becomes a daddy and gets really big problems.

I'm no good at fishing but my dad is great

I've read all three books 3 times and all the drawings are great because I'm going to be an artist and I'm keeping these to learn by. Wow! Can she draw! The book 2 cover is the best. Rex

I was quite amazed at the author's braininess to have Rasputin be so mean a lone wolf and see the mouse and the others outsmart him and then have Rasputin change and kinda become a hero. The drawings are incredible. I've ordered the audio and my kids are waiting for it.

I see wolves all over Colorado when we hike

Rasputin is a bad old wolf but he gets better when he gets a job, taking care of the baby wolf is really hard to do. Once in a awhile a wolf comes up to us when we hike but they are always nice, like a big dog. When we camp at night, they howl but we're used to it and we love it. Danny

I read these fantastic books to my children, and for once they held their attention to the end. Now they want to hear the audiobooks , just released. The books were enjoyed by the whole family. We need more books like these.
