Very simplistic. Their suggestions for food swaps only address calorie issues. They don't really address good nutrition. This book would be good for someone who has never read any nutrition books before.

I think I needed to hear from a source what I already knew. Conventional diets are not for runners....... I would try several diets and fail because I felt tired and not fueled properly. This book is a good starting point. Especially for me as a second year runner.
