Meet the Author

Born in 1925 in Pennsylvania, Russell Hoban was an illustrator before becoming a writer. He has written many books for children. His adult novels, besides those included in this volume, are Riddley Walker, The Medusa Frequency, Fremder, and Kleinzeit.
