This short story has the potential to be a great ful length novel. The author needs to flesh out the characters amd their relationships. Also delve into the mystery of the missing timber and its relationship to the curators illness...

I loved this book. Very well written. Loved that the tree was upside-down. Only for children at christmas. Good job. Thanks for the great read. J...... :)

Probably makes more sense if you read the novels, but captures Christmas (good and bad) well.

The Christmas tree ends up on the floor by the back door, wilting and undecorated. No wrapping paper because it's too much trouble to stand in line. Lots of history cited about traditions without much point to them. An old man supposedly dying because an ancient piece of wood has been stolen. What is the point of this novella? It certainly was plotless and pointless to me. I sincerely worry about reviewers who gave this four and five stars.

Fans will definitely enjoy this short story, however it just was not long enough. I can not wait until the new release.

Despite a distracting mini-plot about some little piece of wood, I liked it.

This 26 page flash story was terrible. It is one of the worst stories I have read since I got my nook a year ago. It was super boring and almost as confusing. I do not driuds and all that stuff any other time of the year and Christmas is no exception. My advice? Skip this one. AD
