Overview

The first three novels in the bestselling Ryan Lock series for under ten bucks.
"This series is ace. There are deservedly strong Lee Child comparisons as the author is also a Brit, his novels US-based, his character appealing, and his publisher the same." - Sarah Broadhurst, The Bookseller
"Sean Black writes with the pace of Lee Child, and the heart of Harlan Coben." - New York Times Bestseller, Joseph Finder
"This is a writer, and a hero, to watch." - The Daily Mail

LOCKDOWN
"A thrilling debut!" Sunday Times Bestseller, Simon Kernick
"Hold on tight - this one burns like a lit fuse." International Bestseller, Gregg HurwitzIt may be Christmas Eve in New York, but for ex-military bodyguard Ryan Lock it's business as usual. His task: to protect the CEO of the world's largest bio-technology company from a group of radical, and highly determined, activists.

DEADLOCK
'Black's star just keeps on rising.' - Daily Telegraph
'...a smash hit with action thriller fans on both sides of the Atlantic.' - The Post
His mission should have been straightforward: keep one man alive for one week.
"The California State Prison at Pelican Bay holds three and a half thousand of America's most violent criminals. Three thousand, four hundred and ninety nine of them want the remaining inmate dead. Your job is to keep him alive..."

GRIDLOCK
'Sean Black's writing gets leaner and meaner with every book. Gridlock is as cool and sharp as a knife.' - New York Times Bestselling Author, Meg Gardiner
'Keeps the reader guessing right to the gripping final twist.' Sunday SunWhen adult movie actress Raven Lane is targeted by a murderous stalker, she turns to former military bodyguard Ryan Lock for help. But can Lock's beautiful new client be trusted?

Editorial Reviews

The Daily Telegraph - Jeremy Jehu
"In Lockdown, Sean Black's hero, Ryan Lock, causes New York to be sealed against a terrorist threat. The synergy between name and title matters because it highlights the artifice underlying an excellent first novel. Like Lee Child's Jack Reacher, Lock is an ex-military policeman. Unlike Reacher, he has a job (as an elite bodyguard), a home, friends and a sense of humour. Lock's likeability contrasts with Reacher's pomposity and Black's style is supremely slick."
RTE Television - Harry Guerin
"Faster, tighter and with a better plot than his debut 'Lockdown', former TV scriptwriter Black looks set for a lengthy partnership with Lock. Like a cross between 'Assault on Precinct 13', 'In the Line of Fire' and 'The Rock', 'Deadlock' sees Lock really come into his own as a hero and the set-pieces involving a prison yard, remote airstrip, small town courthouse and a city funeral would be great on the big screen."
The Bookseller - Sarah Broadhurst
"This series is ace. It stars bodyguard Ryan Lock, here hired to protect a glamorous movie star with a headless corpse in her car. There are deservedly strong Lee Child comparisons as the author is a Brit (Scottish), his novels US-based, his character appealing, and his publisher the same. This is his third."

My best find in 2014!!! Yes, author Sean Black is my new favorite. His character Ryan Lock is right up there with Reacher, Mitch Rapp and Elvis and Joe Pike. And believe me, that's a good crowd to hang with. The best read so far this year. Do yourself a favor and buy the bundle so you can just keep reading. Ryan Lock IS the new Reacher. Thank you Sean Black.
