Overview

Join Sabrina and Waco on a Wild West ride through Indian Territory. Sabrina’s pampered life comes to a screeching halt when a vile conman steals away her younger sister. When her daddy’s money can’t buy justice, Sabrina takes matters into her own delicate but stubborn hands and heads west to track down the outlaw. To Sabrina’s disgust, her solitary hope for saving Marianne seems to be Waco Smith, an only slightly reformed ex-criminal himself. RT Book Reviews - Patsy Glans

This is a wonderful historical with romance, mystery, and characters who are sweet, cunning, and determined to get the upper hand on the bad guys. Historical details are written so well that readers can visualize the sights and sounds of Indian country. Morris is an amazing writer; he brings to life the 19th century - the good and the bad - with style and grace.

I loved this book, and the unique way this author takes time to show us-readers- the reason behind all the actions and decisions the characters are making. he shows what makes them - them. I respect that in authors. in some books it is hard to concentrate on the story line because you keep wondering what that person was and what is driving this person, I sometimes tend to go back to first chapters and rereading them thinking I missed something.

I enjoy Gilbert Morris' books especially this series, can't wait for the last one to come out.

Find how a young lady from Boston leaves her aunt and uncle to strike out on her own to become the school teacher in a remote area in KY. Loved this book, romance and her faith in God takes care of her in the worst times.

MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK Sabrina wasn’t a likeable character because she acted like a spoiled brat, and was always determined to get her way. And her determination lead her on a journey to the Oklahoma Indian Territory to find her sister. A sister who fell in love with an evil man, but he acted sweet as sugar until he looked her, and of course she didn’t find out until she ran away with him. Sabrina and her feisty behavior takes off to Oklahoma, trying to find her. She meets up with a cowboy who has been looking for the outlaw for some time, and they hook up together. I was taken back at some of the negative reviews for this book. I don’t think Sabrina’s Man is the best work of Gilbert Morris but it is an enjoyable read. For me, Sabrina’s actions wasn’t realistic, and going after a wanted outlaw like she did seemed immature, but the ending was good. The first book in this series was a much better book, and I am waiting on the third book, because I want to continue the story. Overall, this is a really good historical western read. I encourage you to pick up a copy to read and write your own review! I received this book from the Barbour Books to read and review. I was not required to write a positive review. Gilbert Morris is one of my favorite authors and I have read many of his books. This one just didn't meet my expectations.

I've never written a review before, but this is a really good read, worth your time. Strong willed, in control, woman, meets strong but defeated cowboy. One realizing that fixing a terrible situation is beyond her control (a first) and the other. whose given up after being terribly hurt, betrayed, sent to prison... stir in a kidnapping, well, it is a fast paced, well written book . You will not be blushing to read or bored either.

Just finished the book. I was very disappointed in the book. I have read several books by this author that I have enjoyed, but this one was a copy of another one of his books. The names of the characters were changed but the story was exactly the same! What a bummer!

While the plot had potential i felt the text was very clunky for lack of a better turn. If the word "well" was used one more time i was going to scream. All that being said i did enjoy the basic storyline though i doubt I'll pick up any other books by this author.

Some parts of the story seemed well written and made me want to keep reading, but other portions were lacking. I would be interested for a while, then get bored and want to stop but I had already read so much I figured I should see how it ends. Overall okay, but can't rate it much better than "eh."
