    A Beautiful Story

This is the story of Lewis and Clark's journey, seen and told through the eyes of Sacagewea. The reader follows her story from the Shoshone people, to the Mandan village, to leaving with Lewis and Clark, reaching the Big Water, and returning home again, at the start of the Great Change. I enjoyed hearing the story of Lewis and Clark from the perspective of the only woman and a member of the expedition whose story is rarely, if ever, told in the first person. It is a beautiful book, filled with glossy images, journal excerpts and 'supplemental' information in the back. I highly recommend this book to anyone with interest in the Corp of Discovery.
