Overview

Plummeting through the atmosphere from the doors of the hovering Inter Planetary Fleet Academy transport, Sacia's first solo training mission begins, literally, whipping against her face. Below, an uninhabited, unbridled planet awaits, consisting primarily of sea and one, small, humid landmass filled with untamed vegetation and fierce creatures beyond her imagination. Her task, not yet revealed. Will she succeed? Soon, the challenges before her will test every sense of her being as she is faced with more than just an assignment at stake.

Brian Miller, the author of NINA: INSURGENT and SACIA: SURVIVAL of the SACIA series, an Eagle Scout, and member of Kappa Sigma, Miller holds a Bachelor's degree in Music with a minor in Creative Writing from Washington College, Maryland, USA, and a Masters degree in Creative Writing and Publishing from Kingston University, in Kingston upon Thames, England. Born in Seattle and reared outside Philadelphia, he enjoys reading, writing, playing the piano and synthesizer, and is an avid supporter of local book, record, music stores, and coffee shops, as well as, Starbucks. An additional interesting fact about this active, well educated and traveled author, he happens to be blind which, boggles the mind after reading the details of his characters’ experiences, situations, and environments in his engaging sci-fi, character driven stories.
