    Fascinating Prehistoric Novel ...!

Magical 'Storyteller's Voice' of the writer lulls you in to the myriad actions set in the deep south over 5,000 years ago. I have always wondered how certain things began in this country, & how earlier people resolved challenges of daily life, wild weather patterns, loss & betrayal, birth & death... This is an amazing series of accounts in Native American clan life. I go back & reread some parts & chapters & stories in this book for the richness they reveal! This is a classic! It would make a fabulous movie...!!!

    a reviewer

I read 'Sacred Cave' with great enthusiasm, almost hating to have it end. This is a smart, seductive 'tour de force' of ancient characters exploring early prehistoric Southeastern environments. These are the fictional forebears of the Mound Builders - a dynamic group of earthy, intelligent, romantic people led by five generations of passionate Algonquian women who are also shamans with psychic abilities & many intuitive gifts. I understand this exceptional first novel is soon to be followed by a sequel ... I can hardly wait!

    Amazing Creative Novel!!!

Marvelous Native American stories & character developments woven into this bright novel set in prehistoric eastern America just at the dawn of the mysterious, dynamic moundbuilders culture. How did these remarkable people envision themselves? How did moundbuilding begin? Why? For all of us who have ever pondered these & other scientific & spiritual points of interests ~ this novel takes up back in time in hopes of explaining how things might have started at two ancient, prehistoric sites in today's Georgia... wrapped in mystery, woven into the earth with amazing resilience & imagination. What a read! I loved it & recommend it!
