If you want a unique ceremony and need a perfect guide to the process then this is the book for you. Whatever type of official you are going to use this book has it covered. I was recommended this by afriend and was really pleased with it. I have bought a couple of books for the big day but have found this to be the best value for money. Kudos to the author for a great book with fantastic advice.Highly recommended! Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

Dayna Reid has awakened our thoughts and ideas in creating our wedding. We did our homework, put our heads together and combed the web for ideas. We want a non-religious themed wedding but couldn't find one that fit us.
Then we came across Sacred Ceremony we found that it not only encompassed religious ideas but a plethora of non religious as well. In all our research, we finally found what fit us in Sacred Ceremony!
Dayna guides you through the process with such ease, it is almost like she is there talking you through creating your special day. From guiding you to choosing an Officiant that will serve the couples needs best, to all the legal characteristics that need to be attended too. The worksheet in the last few pages helps create your own personal vision to be remembered by all.

Dayana Reid's Sacred Ceremony is a very informative book in helping you chose the right vows to meet your individual needs. She gives ample examples on readings and ceremonies for your wedding be it spiritual, non-spiritual, humorous, how to incorporate kids into the ceremony, cultural ceremonies, traditional ceremonies etc. Clear and simply written, this book is a fantastic resource when planning your wedding. She also gives information on the procession and recession of the wedding party in a diagram format which I found very helpful. Being a wedding photographer, this book is a fantastic resource to give to my brides and grooms to start them on their way to exchanging perfect vows!!Was this review helpful? Planning your wedding ceremony can be very intimidating. Even within the confines of a set religious background, or without, there are so many variables that one just has no idea where to start. Dayna Reid has taken the fright and mystery out and with careful research and lots of love created the one tool that every couple getting ready for that special day must have.
From the wording, the traditions to the paperwork, Ms. Reid has demystified the process and given couples a tool which is easy to read yet completely comprehensive.
This is also a complete must for those who preform the ceremonies because no where else is there such an eloquent reference available.
