My favorite songs on "SACRED SPIRIT: CHANTS and DANCES of the NATIVE AMERICANS" are; The Counterclockwise Circle Dance, Celebrating Wild Rice, The Cradlesong, and Wishes of Happiness& Prosperity.

The eerie sounds of Sacred Spirits truly reached into some part of me and made me feel energized. Although most who listen will not understand the language that is spoken in the chants, that in no way took away from the experience of this soul stirring music.

A very moving experience. Since it has slow and quick paced music it's great for meditation, dancing, or just plain relaxing. Seems to take me away to another place while listening.

This music makes me wish I were there, watching these people sing and dance. It really takes me back to another time long ago and I love it.

I first listened to this music about a year ago and was hooked. I love the chants and the way the music is so relaxing. i enjoy all titles and can hardly wait for the next cd. Thank you for the wonderful music

I have always loved this album, it helped me return to were I should have been all my life. but never so much as after my home burnt and I almost lost my life. This album and Denan's are what kept me going through the roughest time. It was one of two albums my family Bible and my cherokee feast of days book that was spared.

This CD is very relaxing and provides an outlet to meditate and forget about all the daily routines, etc...Everyone who listens to it for the first time when they're around me asks what it is and wants to get the CD. I recommend this CD to anyone who is spirited and likes to be taken to another world by music.

We bought this cd about 2 years ago and haven't gotten tired of listening to its en''chanting'' drums, beats, and melodies. In fact, we are on our 5th copy, because we either share it with friends, or they take it on us!! We've never heard anything like this c.d.; it's truly beautiful and moving. You can't go wrong with this unusual, original fusion of the ancient and the modern. If you can tell us anything about Fearsome Brave, we'd love to know.

This recording is timeless and ancient; to be experienced, to feel the connection of spirit and man.

I've listened to this CD since I got it when it first came out. It's always something that rides me inside, and soothes me. I know where it comes from, I just don't know why or how. This CD is one of my favorites. You will feel "HOME" when you listen. You might not know why, but you will feel it.

This CD had to sneak up on me before I caught on to its groove. The music doesn't intrude on the chants (vocals) and there is plenty of synths in the background to give it that "airy" feeling. There are some real sparks and glimmers of what seems to be the native soul (I can only speculate because I'm of european descent). This CD does seem to change modes a bit after track 7 and lose some of its strength, but I still listen to the entire bit. It's an excellent "soundtrak" if you are traveling. *You might notice some of the native spoken words on this disc come from the movie Dances With Wolves. Enjoy!

I enjoyed the album but I feel that the real soul of this traditional music was drown out by the synthesized instruments. Just a bit too modern in flavor for my taste. The drum beats were so heavy it was impossible to tell an honor beat. Synthesizers, violins and guitars just do not say: "Native American Indian Traditional Music" to me.

If you like relaxing to new age music or use in the background, this CD is for you. The handsome young man on the cover depicts an age to which the music is anachronistic. I kind of like it, but I'm thinking "Where's Yianni?"
