Praise for SAFELY PROSPEROUS or REALLY RICH?

"Howard's brilliant concept that the roads to Prosperity and Riches are very different is very liberating. In most financial books, the author would never do what Howard has done–recount with unflinching honesty the big financial mistakes he and his subscribers have made over the years so readers can avoid the same stumbling blocks and pitfalls. Only a very secure man would have the guts to do that."
–Robert Allen author of Multiple Streams of Income and Nothing Down

"Howard Ruff is back, offering a wealth of powerful new financial advice for America's middle class. In his new manual, Safely Prosperous or Really Rich?, he challenges you to choose between two roads. The older I get, the more I favor 'Safely Prosperous,' but you make the call. I also love Howard's old-fashioned moral perspectives on money."
–Mark Skousen editor of Forecasts and Strategies

"Safely Prosperous or Really Rich? is destined to be one of the most influential books of the early twenty-first century, just as his mega bestseller, How to Prosper During the Coming Bad Years, changed millions of lives in the late '70s. Welcome back, Howard."
–John Mauldin author of Bull's Eye Investing

Howard J Ruff or Chicken Little ?

Howard J Ruff counts on the fears of people to sell his books. Also Ruff knows that you most likely have not read his 1979 clasic that stated the USA would see long lasting inflation, wide spred black market activity and a collaps of the financial system in the 1980'S !!! This is the author that advised in 1979 to commit a fixed portion of your income each month to a stockpile of consumer goods: amunition, tools, food, also bone up on your survival skills. Fast-forward to 1999 and a new book timed on the Y2K 'crisis'. Again Ruff takes advantage of the fears of the day to sell high priced doomsayer advice. It is up to the reader to decide the validity of these books however the works of Howard J Ruff should be read as a novel rather than financial advice.

    Highly Recommended!

This book offers a somewhat rambling compendium of solid (if unoriginal) investment advice. Author Howard Ruff's strength is his blunt, straightforward, unpretentious style. He covers a great deal of ground, discussing everything from the advisability of investing in gold to the principles of life and time management. Many readers will no doubt find this both useful and refreshing. Others will look for more depth ¿ and the author obliges by including appendices with sources of additional information on various topics. We suggest this book to those who are new at financial planning and who lust for wealth, but are willing to settle for prosperity. And safety. And sound investing.

Ruff information is more of an advertisement

The information that is presented in the book is to general and most of the information presented is well know by most people today. To much self promotion & promotion of others in this book. In my opinion the book should had been classified as a magazine. Since in a magazine you known you get promotions and advertisements. Overall, do not buy the book put the money your going to spend into a savings account since you will earn more from it that way.
