A Fabulous Read! Make sure this book is on your buy list!

Jeff Robenalt tells a captivating story wrapped around an accurate portrayal of Texas History. The descriptions are visual, you can almost see the characters and settings. Women will like the book as much as the men, and Caleb's love for two women makes for a great rivalry. You won't put it down.

A Must-Read For All Cowboys (Texan or Otherwise)!

It is obvious the author did his research in writing this book. The physical descriptions of the land are authentic, as is the language and mannerisms of the time. I fully expect this book to be made into a TV movie! I am giving three copies of Saga of a Texas Ranger for Christmas gifts. And, I'm keeping one on my shelf to read again and again.

    Bad news

Mr. Robenalt passed away on march 8, 2014. He was my favorite teacher and great book writer. He was always in a good mood and we loved him for it. There wont be a day that goes bye without everyone remembering how good of a teacher he was.

Fare well and rest in peace mr. Robenalt

A Must Read if you love Texas History of the 1800's

I first read Saga of a Texas Ranger when it was a paperback and loved it so much I couldn't wait to get it in hardcover so I could give my friends a copy. It is a great story, an adventure and an accurate view
of life in Texas during this interesting time. The battles, the rangers, the places, come alive and Jeff Robenalt's talent as a writer of historical fiction is so good I could already see the miniseries come to life. More please. I know there are three more coming. Bring them on!!!!!!!!!!
