Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Raina Sedore
Sailor Moon is one of the most beloved characters in manga and anime in the world. She is one of a team of "pretty guardians" who defend the world from evil forces. In this volume of the reinvigorated series, Usagi (Sailor Moon's civilian name), her paramour Tuxedo Mask, her team of pretty guardians, and her future child (who time-traveled backwards in a previous volume) encounter a foe involved in running a prestigious school in Tokyo. A violin concert, scientific experimentation, and a flexibly gendered mysterious stranger all converge in a plot that culminates in an epic battle requiring all the pretty guardians to use their powers. Although certainly part of the larger Sailor Moon narrative, this volume stands alone reasonably well, and lifelong fans and newbies alike will find themselves rooting for the pretty guardian team. Manga is extremely popular and getting more so; this is an appropriate time to reintroduce the hordes of manga fans to an original classic series. Reviewer: Raina Sedore

    This is ridiculous! For some stupid reason the book is flipped! If you open the book correctly, with the cover facing right side up, the pages on the inside are flipped upside down!!!! This is so not cool! I'm very upset that this has happened! ;o;
