The author for this book was a former U.S. Army Special Operations Group Officer who included unfamiliar jargons, military symbols, and acronyms, which meant to be easily comprehended by the Military Service men and women. For example the average readers will find more than enough acronyms, such as "AAA", "DUKW", "O-1", "IIIAC", just to name a few. For other readers, this book may cause frustrations - flip the pages back and forth to familiarize with those unfamiliar military acronyms and symbols. In the book, there are about 60 black & white photographs (a few of them are big), along with several aerial and 3-D bird's eye view maps (expect to see key to military symbols) and three different hand-painted (?) illustrations of battle scenes. After finish reading this book, I was thinking if this book was originally written and published for the military service men and women. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
