Meet the Author

RADM Robert O. Wray, Jr. is a United States Naval Academy graduate, who has served as a nuclear engineer on surface ships. He transitioned to the reserves, and enjoyed a varied civilian career in manufacturing, services, hospitality, politics, and consulting. He simultaneously progressed in his reserve career until promoted to admiral, and placed back onto full-time duty. Currently he serves as the President of the U.S. Navy’s Board of Inspection and Survey. He holds an M.A. in leadership from Georgetown, and speaks and writes on the subject. He lives in Norfolk, VA
