Overview

Boxed set of four #1 bestselling "Vampire for Hire" mystery novels.

MOON DANCE
Mother, wife, private investigator...vampire. Six years ago federal agent Samantha Moon was the perfect wife and mother, your typical soccer mom with the minivan and suburban home. Then the unthinkable happens, an attack that changes her life forever. And forever is a very long time for a vampire. Now the world at large thinks Samantha has developed a rare skin disease, a disease which forces her to quit her day job and stay out of the light of the sun. Working the night shift as a private investigator, Samantha is hired by Kingsley Fulcrum to investigate the murder attempt on his life, a horrific scene captured on TV and seen around the country. But as the case unfolds, Sam discovers Kingsley isn't exactly what he appears to be; after all, there is a reason why he survived five shots to the head.

VAMPIRE MOON
Samantha finds herself hunting down a powerful crime lord and protecting an innocent woman from her ruthless ex-husband--all while two very different men vie for her heart. And as the stakes grow higher and her cases turn personal, Samantha Moon will do whatever it takes to protect the innocent and bring two cold-blooded killers to justice--her own brand of justice.

AMERICAN VAMPIRE
Samantha receives a heartbreaking phone call from a very unlikely source: a five-year-old girl who's been missing for three months. Now on the hunt, Sam will use her considerable resources--including her growing supernatural abilities--to locate the missing girl before it's too late. And as she gets closer and closer to the horrible truth, she receives devastating news on the home front. Now with her world turned upside down, Samantha Moon is forced to make the ultimate choice of life and death.

MOON CHILD
Samantha is faced with an impossible decision--a decision that no mother should ever have to make. A decision that will change her life, and those she loves, forever. And through it all, Sam finds herself in a lethal game of vampire vs. vampire as a powerful--and desperate--enemy will stop at nothing to claim what he most desires.

    My kind of Super Hero

Need a new Super Hero, well her she is. Samantha Moon will capture your heart. She's a caring mom, takes down the bad guys, while putting her ex-husband in his place. With each book JR grabs your attention and keeps you holding on to the very end and leaves you begging for more. JR Rain has created a Super Hero that every woman can relate to and wish she was. With leading men who will leave you swooning and waiting for what comes next. Highly anticipating book 5.

    Highly entertaining.

These stories are a great read. Buy this set and get a fantastic deal. Just make sure you have plenty of time or you could be up all night and seriously considering calling in sick to work so you can read on!

    Highly addictive series

I have to say I was sceptical about reading these books, but wow was I wrong! I absolutely love this series. (Hate the husband though,LOL!) As soon as I finished one book I had to immediately start the next one because J R Rain is a master at penning cliffhangers. I highly recommend Samantha Moon.

    Quite fun

I read all four in a few days and quite enjoyed them. Characters were a hit or miss though- only three seemed well developed and the others were completely flat. I would classify this series as somewhere between True Blood and The Stephanie Plum Evanovich series. Not as good as either but a nice read.

    AWESOME SERIES!!

This is a GREAT series! Mini van driving /Soccer mom Samantha Moon's life changed completely one dreadful night. She is still driving the mini van and still catering for her two kids with a slight difference....She's a vampire now. She is also a private investigator. She works hard to keep life as normal as possible for everyone around her while fighting to discover her new self. She is smart and funny and charming and surrounded by a great cast of characters. I love this series and the cases that Samantha takes on. I absolutely can't wait for more!!

    Looking for a suoernatural heroine?

This was a really good series. I couldn't put the nook down! I like that the character has eveeyday commotion like normal folks and uses her heightened senses fir the common good. The setting of the story was very familiar territoey as well. I felt like I was there. Being a CA native and all. Great books!

Not worth my time~ the star is actually worth HALF.

Stopped reading after page 4. Same phrases one right after the other. The story line was weak, cheesy, and boring from page one. There were details that were pointless and had nothing to do with her character or what the story was evrn about. Grammar and spelling errors are everywhere which also makes it seem like the author was a fourth grader who was learning the basic techniques of writing. In my opinion this book shouldn't be bought or read. It is a complete waste of time.

    Love these books!

I knew of this author before he was hitting it big. He was living in LA and writing stories and helping people online with their own stories. He was always super nice! His parents write christian books that sell on this site. His mom has always been super nice and writes a great book as well! I love his stories still and I hope he keeps it up! good going Jon!
