This book can combine the different worlds at the same time.The story of Omer Hayyam and how he survived can explain the thoughts of this genious man.The language of Amin MAalouf is deeply interesting like a brillliant architecture.One of the most interesting books I have ever read!!

I applaud Maalouf on this remarkable book. I was intoxicated by the amazing detailed and passionate writing of the author. This book is an extrordinary historical source. Couldn't put the book down.
