Hungry Vampire
Author Tina Folsom did an excellent job of developing her main characters for this story, the good, the bad, the happy and the sad. Did I really want to start out the gate reading of a man with erectile dysfunction? No, not particularly. However, to capture the beautiful love story, you have to see where the main characters were before they fell in love. You get an idea of the inner workings of fate in this story. More:

I do believe I have found my favorite erotic book for this year and it also has my favorite genre paranormal. This book is romantic, witty and pure down right hot. The author does a wonderful job in how she brings this erotic romance together. I was floored as I keep reading and the story keep getting deeper. It has humor, twist and turns, surprises, danger, villains, a excellent cast of vampire male characters the author can run on and OMG the sex is.

I wasn’t expecting the first line to read “Let me suck your cock,” but honestly, that’ll stay with me. Not that I am a prude and Folsom’s book is peppered with erotic scenes that are, I have to admit, very well written.
It was bubbly and quick paced. There was humour, ... wonderfully saucy piece of prose ...

What really drives this story is the romance between Samson and Delilah. My favorite part of the book was the main love scene between them. I think the author did a fantastic job on this part. More:

    I couldn't get enough.

I have to start off by saying I'm so very pleased that I found this author, Tina Folsom. I noticed one of her other books on Amazon and after I read that I knew I wanted to read as much as I could from Folsom.

Out of the two I've read, this is most definitely my favorite. Whoa, I'm still fanning myself from some of the scenes. I really felt what the characters were going through. Their responses to the unfolding story really rang true for me. I know when I read some books the characters response doesn't quite fit into what I'd have been feeling. So it was really nice that this one was so believable.

Samson, a bachelor (also vampire) is having trouble with his manhood. Ever since the betrayal with his last girlfriend he hasn't been able to do the deed. So when he meets Delilah and everything awakens he's shocked. She's mortal. He also realizes someone's out to get her and wants her dead.

Poor Delilah it's just one shock after another for her. First someone's chasing her and next... well, I'll let you read the book to find out. I loved it. I loved the secondary characters. I loved the main characters. I loved everything. I cannot wait to read the next two in the series.

    Sexy vampire romance

Since there's no summary, here's the summary from Amazon:

Vampire bachelor Samson can't get it up anymore. Not even his shrink can help him. That changes when the lovely mortal auditor Delilah tumbles into his arms after a seemingly random attack. Suddenly there's nothing wrong with his hydraulics - that is, as long as Delilah is the woman in his arms.

However, another attack on Delilah and a dead body later, and Samson has his hands full: not only with trying to hide the fact he's a vampire, but also with finding out what secrets Delilah harbors for somebody to want her harm.

    Warning: explicit sex scenes

    Review:
From its quirky premise to its heart-felt conclusion, this is a light, lively romance packed with fresh twists, snappy dialogue, and steamy sex. A perfect escapist read.

    Loving this series! Highly Recommended!

Well what can I say? Tina Folsom has delivered another fantastic Erotica read with Samson's Lovely Mortal. This was such a great read I hated to put it down.

Samson has been going through a rough period, unable to perform sexually with all the stresses of life he is currently enduring. When he decides to take his good friend Amaury's advice, he visits Dr. Drake, a psychiatrist for Vampires.

Unsure that this doctor can help, he tries to heed his advice. It is his birthday and the boys have prepared a surprise for Samson, even though Samson is not surprised they've made plans.

When Delilah pounds on his door hoping to escape her attacker, Samson is surprised the boys have sent a human to help him with his problem. Feeling the attraction, he plays along with what he thinks is part of Delilah's act, (he thinks she's a stripper, not a true damsel in distress). As she tries to fight him off, now unsure is she may have been safer outside with the man that grabbed her, Samson finds himself aroused.

The boys enter with the real stripper, and Samson is found with a huge case of embarrassment. Now feeling he must make it up to Delilah, he offers her a ride home, then later asks her out on a date. When the real stripper attempts to pleasure him, he finds himself back in the same boat as before and seeks the good Dr.'s advice.

Dr. Drake's advice is simple - he must have sex with this human girl.

Delilah accepts Samson's invitation, surprised she feels an attraction to Samson even after the way he treated her. Their date goes exceptionally well, and as they are leaving, her attacker appears yet again, not expecting her protector to be a Vampire.

This now sets the stage for Samson to become Delilah's protector, and since he is the owner of Scanguards, a body guard service, he seeks to find out who and why someone is after his new attraction, and healer of his erectile dysfunction.

With surprising twists and turns along the way, not to mention fantastic, steamy sex, Folsom did not hold back on delivering another fantastic read. I highly recommend this series, The Scanguards Vampires, and give Samson's Lovely Mortal ***** (5) Stars. ~BK Walker

Review: "Samson's Lovely Mortal" by Tina Folsom

When asked to read and review this paranormal romance, "Samson's Lovely Mortal", I took the time to read the synopsis about the book as well as the author's website. At first, I was skeptical and uncertain that I would be interested in the storyline. However, the thought occurred to me, there have been many books I have read with just as much or less information about them, but took it upon someone's word that they were good. I had friends who had read those books and could give me a play-by-play if I need it. This time, this book had not been release yet. I was a first time reader, so to speak, and I would potentially be a first reviewer. I appreciated the challenge set before me.

In this story, Samson is a vampire and has been a bachelor for a very long time. Never in his life, or undead life, has he ever had trouble getting it up. He has never had trouble in the sex department before but now it's a problem. Upon advice from a friend, he seeks the help of a shrink, only to realize not even a shrink can help. However, it all changes when fate brings a beautiful mortal named, Delilah to his doorstep. Delilah is an auditor who is hired to audit a company in a city she is unfamiliar. Chased by a would-be mugger, Delilah happens upon Samson's doorstep seeking refuge. Opening the door and inviting the now soaked from rain, scared human into his home, and through several misunderstandings, Samson realizes that his equipment has begun to work again.

I am not one who cares to read or watch gratuitous sex. When I began reading this book, that was my first thought. In fact, I even set the story down for a couple of days because I was not impressed on the first chapter. I will admit, I am very hard on books. If they don't capture my attention in the first chapter, I usually get rid of it. Had I done that with this book, it would have been my loss.

After getting past the first couple of chapters, this story became an excellent page-turner! I found myself wanting to get back to the story to find out what more would happen. As I approached the end, I found myself asking questions, questions that only the author could answer. Perhaps she will in her future books. However, with all that said, I enjoyed every emotional, erotic, and sexy second of this story. It's a beautiful love story with just a little intrigue added to keep all interested. I recommend you grab a copy.

    Excellent weekend read!!!

Wow what a way to spend a weekend!!! I actually purchased all three books from this series starting with Samson's Lovely Mortal. By the end of the weekend I had finished all three in the series. No disappointments what so ever. They kept me on the edge of my seat wanting more. This entire series is very well written from the characters to their storylines. I highly recommend all three titles in this series and I personally can't wait for the fourth. :)

    Perfectly balanced

I really enjoyed reading this book. It was the first romance novel I had ever read and I loved it. I believe the author did a great job at balancing the romance and erotic parts of the story with the mystery and whodunnit aspect. Would definitely recommend and I will definitely be reading the other books in this series.

This is a new to me Author and I am so glad to have read a book. This book was wonderful.
We have Samson who is a old vampire who owns a mega million dollar empire Scanguards is the company.
Delilah works for Scanguards as an Auditor but a special kind of auditor and she is human.
In this story we have a lot of suspense, some comedy, a lot of passion and a few hurdles to over come.
The book is well written and I will be picking up the next book in this series.

I got this book as a free read on Amazon. I was a bit skeptical about it considering it was about a vampire who had an impotency problem. I did get a good laugh in the beginning with the vampires going to see a psychiatrist because they have issues. The whole "can't get it up" problem only lasts a couple of chapters then you get to the point of the story. I really liked this book. It showed you a female character who wasn't afraid to speak her mind and go for what she wants. There are many books that give you a woman who is quiet and shy, always waiting for man to read her mind on what she wants. Well, that is not this book. I am anxious to continue with the series.
