Editorial Reviews

From Barnes & Noble
Old soldiers may just fade away, but old ballplayers re-create themselves. Matt Johanson and Wylie Wong's Giants: Where You Gone? takes readers into the lives of former San Francisco mainstays. The candid stories reveal the diversity of post-career experiences; from Chris Brown dodging bullets as a Halliburton truck driver in Iraq to Orlando Cepeda finding peace through Buddhism after drug addiction and prison. A baseball book that even non-fans can enjoy.
