Sand: Omnibus Edition

3.6 5
by Hugh Howey

We live across the thousand dunes with grit in our teeth and sand in our homes.

No one will come for us.
No one will save us.

This is our life, diving for remnants of the old world so that we may build what the wind destroys.

No one is looking down on us.
Those constellations in the night sky?

Those are the backs of gods we see.

Why people feel the need to share with the world that they think a book isn't cheap enough -- and not only rate it poorly based on that fact, but rate it poorly regardless of the fact they've never even read it (which is what the rating system is for). Don't even get me started on all the rest of the bizarre, pointless, irrelevant comments this site has become littered with. Nothing at all is being done about it either, regardless of all the reports. I'm officially done with the review section of this [declining] website.

For fans of his silo series, this is not as good, but still an interesting read.

Will wait for nook book format.  Hard cover is too expensive.
