This is a fast paced book with excellent characters, an interesting setting and wonderful phrasing. If you enjoy George Martin or Richard Byers you will like this. There are lots of interesting details and my primary compliant is that I would have liked to have spent more time with the Circus of Corvus Nightfeather and the Goliath who wanted to be a clown. I enjoyed the book and grew to like the main characters. I became more interested in the idea of being twin-souled, and the book illuminated what (to me at least) is an otherwise uninteresting area. Wizards of the Coast absolutely raped the geography and structure of the Realms for 4th Edition, I'm still not happy with what I see in most of the game books and novels coming out. I hope some of this disappears in future additions.
