For the first part of this book it seemed very repetitive to me. Go to bar, listen to music, get wasted, have sex repeat. Something about it though kept me reading and I am really glad that I did. It proved in the end to be a pretty good read. Angel is the main character who loves Ash who in my opinion was a real jerk but to each his own. At times I wished I could shake Angel out of her drunken stupor and tell her to wake up and stop being so reckless. The character that I fell in love with was Jay. He was so sweet and caring that it was hard not to like him. Throughout the book you knew that there was this killer vampire and you had suspicions about many people so that was a good thing. Overall after reading this book I can't wait to read the second book! The writer is very good at bringing you right into this whole world of craziness. Would you bleed for the one you love? Angel Harris has always had a thing about vampires, but not so much the killer that is claiming victims in the city where she lives and works. The press are calling him `The Vampire', because the victims are found drained of blood, with bite marks to their necks. Ash is the lead singer in a local rock band. Angel is drawn into his world when she is asked by her boss at the local newspaper to investigate rumours of blood drinking within Ash's band. Ash and Angel bond on a deep level and she finds herself welcomed into this group of supposed blood drinkers. But the body count continues to rise and Angel will soon find out that `The Vampire' is closer to her than she ever would have believed. Sex, blood and rock n roll. (WARNING: contains adult content!)

First off I have to say I LOVED this book! the story line as great and so was the plot,I'm so glad the Author asked me to review this book. The book started out a little slow for me and I was having trouble with getting into it at first, but once I got to about the third chapter I was hooked.Angle Harris is this young women who loves vampires and also loves to writ, but is struggling to get anyone to publish her work. She finally get a break at the news paper where she is currently working, but soon quits her job when she fall head over hills in love the with the leader of the band she is supposed to be doing a story about, mean while there is a vampire killer on the lose and he has eyes for Angle. I don't really want to say to much about this,I hate spoilers. So much goes on in this book and Angel pretty much just goes threw hell and back.I felt so bad for her what with all the heartache and betrayal she goes threw.I was shocked at who the bad guy in this book was but then again I wasn't,I knew it was between 3 guys in Angels life and was glad it was not the two guys I liked the most.I was sad with the way things ended but I also think it mite have been for the best.I loved how the story just kept getting deeper and deeper and the suspense was killing me.I can't wait to read the second book that's coming out,i'm diying to see what awaits for Angle next.

One of the best books I have read this year! While I can't see myself in the main characters I can, through the writer, experience their lives and relationships. This one is a don't miss for 18 yrs. and up
