Cute Christmas Read for Chick lit Fans!

Hot Toy- by Jennifer Crusie was a bit far fetched for my taste. The plot was a bit silly, but I did enjoy the budding romance between Trudy and Nolan. I would give this story 3/5 stars.

Christmas Bonus- by Lori Foster was my favrotie of the three. The plot was believable, and the romance was suprt sexy. I would give this story 5/5 stars. I also plan on reading more of Foster's novels.

Naughty Under the Mistletoe- by Carly Philips was another good read. The plot was quick, and the characters were lovable. I also plan on reading more novels by Philips. I would give this story 4/5 stars.

Loved It!

Santa Baby is definetely a great holiday read. All 3 stories were good in their own ways. I did think sotries #2 and 3 were better than #1. But, All three ladies know how to right a good Christmas romance. I would reccomend it for anyone looking for a fun holiday read!

Better than Jennifer Crusie's

I like the second part and third parts. I didn't care for Jennifer's story. It was too boring for me. It needed more chili powder in her's. Although, I loved Lori Foster's and Carly Phillips's.

i loved this book for the most part! i mean i loved the first story..... it was adorable even if it was really......... far fetched! but thats what made it so much fun!!!! haha=)even if the middle story turned me off from the beginning..... i mean i didnt like the fact he was 10 years older!!!! kinda wierd.... if u ask me especially when he said he could 'hide his erection most of the time when she was around'!!!!! ok pretty creepy espically when hes in his 30's and shes in her early 20's just right out of college!!!!!!!!!! nasty... turned me off so i didnt read it.... BUT THE LAST BOOK!!=) love it love it love it!!!! so cute and sweet.... just like a naughty chirstmas )haha

Hot Toy* by Jennifer Cruise...Trudy Maxwell..all she wants is a Major McGuffin, The Tough One Two that shoots out toxic waste for her nephew...should that be so hard?? Well apparently that is JUST the beginning. She meets up with Nolan Mitchell, the man who dated and dumped her, in the toy isle. She is angry and STILL looking for that stupid toy, where can it be? While Nolan decides to strike up a conversation! Needless to say Trudy wants nothing to do with the man who broke her heart...but does he listen? Noooo. Then all breaks loose. Spys, a depressed sister and a pushy ex apprentice of her father's. You would think things couldn't get worse..well your wrong! Excellent book! Had me laughing, crying and cheering Trudy on..You go Girl!! *Christmas Bonus by Lori Foster...Eric Bragg has been in love with Maggie Carmichael for four years, waiting for her to grow up enough to be able to return his feelings. He works for her father and everyone, even Maggie assumes that Eric will take over the running of the company, even Maggie. Her father however decides to help by leaving the company to Maggie, thinking that this will get the two of them together, when in fact it pushes Eric away. He does NOT want Maggie thinking he is after the company thru her. It takes having to put together a Christmas party for the company for them to finally get their feelings sorted out and admit to each other that they love one another! Then when they reveal it at the party, all the employees instead of being shocked, tell of the the bet they had going to see how long it took before they finally admitted what everyone else already knew. Loved this book, love the characters and their flaws. A truly great read! *Naughty Under the Mistletoe by Carly Phillips...Antonia Larson has decided that she will seduce her boss at the company Christmas party and then after the christmas break, move onto her new job heart whole and unencombered. Welllll that is what she planned, what she got was her bosses brother and boy! what a hunk he is! So much different than his brother and what a kisser! Nearly melts her elf costume! Will not reveal anymore..you need to get this book. You will thoroughly enjoy all three stories. The authors have made a truly great gift for Christmas to all of us with these stories! There is so much going on in this book. You will love it.

Hot, Sizzling Holiday Read

Santa Baby is an anthology of holiday novellas featuring, Jennifer Crusie, Lori Foster and Carly Phillips, two familiar authors for me and an author who is new for me.*******HOT TOY by Jennifer Cruise is the story of Trudy Maxwell, who is out on Christmas Eve trying to find a Major MacGuffin, the Tough One Two, the latest toy craze, for her five year old nephew. Not only is she out of luck on finding the toy but when she runs into Nolan Mitchell, a professor of Chinese literature, who she had dated a three times, Trudy knew her night had just turned gotten worse. She had thought he was the one, he had never called again. Nolan apologizes for his behaviour, but she is having none of it. When she finds a Major MacGuffin from a previous year she has no idea that this particular version is about to throw her into a world of spies and espionage involving Nolan, secret codes and the toy she is now in possession of. Watching this couple's relationship blossom through it all, is an entertaining read. This story has everything a reader could want, suspense, love, and in places humour. Jennifer is a new author for me, but one I will be reading in the future.******CHRISTMAS BONUS by Lori Foster, although a reprint is a novella I hadn't had the pleasure to read, and this story is a pleasure. Maggie Carmichael, had gone from college to President of Carmichael Athletic Supplies after her father's death. This put Eric Bragg who had been a friend and her father's right-hand man in a very difficult position as he was now her employee. Eric had always had hot feelings toward Maggie, but had bid his time waiting for her to grow up because of a ten year age difference although now it looked like his was going to be a statistic of unrequited love due to unforeseen complications. Unknown to him, Maggie had always had a crush on him and intended to do everything in her power to get Eric to notice her as a woman, not as a boss, now that they must work together to plan a Christmas party for the staff. Secrets are about to be uncovered, desires acted upon and readers are in for a sensual, hot read. Lori has again given her readers a terrific read that will sizzle the pages.******NAUGHTY UNDER THE MISTLETOE by Carly Phillips is also a reprint and the third novella, again not one I had read before but enjoyed. Antonia Larson, a lawyer had now been named senior associate in the new offices of Corbin and Sons. Since she was going to be in a different office now, she felt she could finally act on her plan of seducing her boss and not have to worry about work and office protocol. Maxwell Corbin, an PI, was at the annual Christmas party as an obligation to his father and dreading every minute of it. When he gets a scorcher of a kiss from one elf, his world is turned upside down. Toni realizes at once she has just kissed the twin brother to Stephan Corbin, her colleague and friend under the mistletoe rocking her world. This is one sizzling read as Max and Toni act upon their desires to discover one another. Only Max wants more than a one night stand, but there are obstacles still to be overcome and he only hopes that he can pull it all off to their mutual satisfaction. This is one delightful hot read, and Carly delivers in her usual style.******Santa Baby is a great read, for all readers and proves that Christmas is a magical time of year and really is the season of miracles. I recommend this novella for a super read by three great authors.

Perfect for the Holidays

This would make a nice gift for that booklover on your list. The stories are fun and light. Lori Fosters is the best.
