Overview

In this season of economic uncertainty, radio talk-show host Bob Lonsberry shares a touching true story for everyone who has hills to climb and burdens to bear.
Santa Monica Christmas tells the story of Bob’s first-grade Christmas, the one where his mother told him there would be no Christmas because they couldn’t afford it. It is the story of a mother’s pain, a little boy’s hope and how it all turned out.
More importantly, it is the story of hard times and how to handle them. It is a reminder that no matter how bad things get, there are pearls along the way, bits of hope and light in an otherwise dark world. Santa Monica Christmas contains messages that resonate whenever times are tough -- that you must never quit, that you must believe in something, that you must appreciate the sunshine life sends your way.
Santa Monica Christmas will help you remember this Christmas season that while there are no miraculous answers to many of life’s problems, there is courage. There is faith. And there is the simple grit we all have to go forward and count our blessings.
