I have yet to read this book, although I have asked for it for Christmas. I have read 1-5 and number 7, and they are all brilliant in my opinion. Many people give the book a thumbs down because they saw that the storyline isn't believable. Lighten up people! This is FICTION. In the 'Return of Santa Paws', Gregory Callahan 'The youngest in the family that owns Santa Paws' asks his mother if she believes that Santa Paws is Magical. And several times, Nicholas Edwards states that Santa Paws can sense trouble like magic. Remember this is FICTION. Not Historical Fiction!! Although Nicholas Edwards does an extremely good job of keeping the storyline believable to a point, you will always know that it is not entirely. I would absolutely rcommend this for ages 7-13, and to parents who like to read to their youngest kids.
