Poor Hunter, his day is not going well.  He went to visit one of his writers for a manuscript that was past due the delivery date and urgently needed for a book promo and found out the writer left with the manuscript to Sri Lanka. As Hunter was driving out of town to board a plane to Sri Lanka ( he really wanted the manuscript ) he ran over Santa   So now he has to take not only Santa to the hospital, but take care of Benny the dachshund who Santa was rescuing from a hostile environment. And on top of that, Santa has conned Hunter in delivery the gifts he had to the home he was going to before he was run over. He has to wear the Santa outfit to boot.
As it turns out, this house has no children in it only a writer by the name of May.
When May sees a man in a Santa Claus suit trudging to the cabin, she hides behind the door and knocks him out with a piece of fireplace wood.  When she turns him over she almost passes out, she just clobbered C Hunter Douglas VP of Fortuna Books.  Hunter comes to and meets May. He realizes 1) there is a blizzard outside 2) no children in the house 3) May is a nutso writer.  Santa Claus sure set them up with matchmaking on his mind.  This is a cute short e-book. Funny dialog and plenty of hearts and flowers. I recommend this book; it sure made me smile a lot.
