As they work together to make this Christmas one to remember, an old foe has come to town to make sure that this holiday is the coldest yet.
Warning: Contains a perky elf who dreams of something more, a Christmas myth who may be a baddie, and a sexy ex-bad boy who craves Christmas cookies...and a certain perky blonde.

What a stinkin' fun holiday story. I love to read Christmas stories and this one was so very different from the others I have read. The idea of Justin being Santa's Executive was fascinating and having his love be an elf added all sorts of whimsy. Of course there are the cookies. You can not have someone working for Santa who does not love cookies. Justin was my favorite brother, so that only made this book all the more magical.

Ok so here are the things I am sure you want to know:

Yes, Carrie Ann made sure to include the heat. No the elf is not a little itty bitty teeny tiny creature. She is humanesque. Yes, there is a big bad and boy is he bad. Yes, Justin is just as swoon worthy as you imagined he would be in book one. No, you do not need to read book one to get full enjoyment out of this book. Yes, book one is worth reading either which way. Yes, you should be 18 before you read this. No, it is fine to read this book even if it is July. There is no "It must be Christmas Time" rule.

Santa’s Executive (Holiday Montana Book 2) By Carrie Ann Ryan
    ARC for review.
    My thoughts:
Who wouldn’t wanna be one of Santa’s Executives?
Justin Cooper is a former Holiday bad boy. He is now the respected principle of the Holiday Elementary School who happens to love Christmas cookies.
Rina Brewer goes to Holiday looking for Justin. He has a job to do and he doesn’t even know it.
Things heat up when Justin and Rina get together and it isn’t just from the cookies baking.
I really liked this book and I would recommend it to anyone who loves a great romance involving cookies.

Carrie Ann has a gift for making a Christmas story smell, feel and sound like Christmas. The inhabitants of Holiday Montana have been given unique paranormal traits and Justin Cooper is no different. He is one of Santa's executives and has no idea of this fact until Rina Brewer one of Santa's elves from the North Pole shows up at his door. This is a book that is a charming read during the holiday festivities or any other time you are needing a shot of holiday goodness. Highly recommended.

Justin Cooper, former town bad boy, is the respected principal of the local elementary school and owner of the small town of Holiday, Montana's General Store. He has a busy life and no time to put up with giggling women. All he wants is some peace and quiet. Oh yeah and lots of sugar cookies. He loves his brothers and can't understand why he wants to punch them when they show up unannounced and begin eating his sugar cookies. His life is about to become even more intense when Rina Brewer calls him to remind him of his duties as a Santa Executive. Thinking it a prank call Justin Hangs up on her.

Rina doesn't understand how Justin fell through the cracks, but as she is unhappy in her job she decides to go on a road trip and bring Justin up to speed. By the way did I mention that Rina is an elf and uses a snow globe to travel to Holiday? With only a month to teach Justin all he needs to know she knows she has no time to waste. Explaining to Justin and his family how Holiday got its name and explaining that elves are not the only magical creatures to be drawn to this special town and trying to thwart her immediate boss who is out to make sure she fails Rina begins to feel she may have taken on more than she can handle. Then Santa calls looking for his missing elf....

Funny with a touch of drama with a hole lot of romance, Santa's Executive will keep you immersed in the book to the exclusion of everything else going on around you. And why not you should read the descriptions of the Cooper brothers. I started the Holiday, Montana series with Charmed Spirits and could not wait to read the next book in the series. This could be enjoyed by itself, but is so much better read in order of the series. Brief backgrounds are given to explain the scenes from book 1, but you get a greater appreciation if you read this series in order. Look for Book 3 Finding Abigail, it is now available for reading and you will not want to leave Holiday any time soon. Carrie Ann Ryan has built an wonderful town, not perfect, but charming and you will want to visit it often.

The second book in the Holiday Montana series continues to capture the imagination and captivate the reader.
Justin is the straight laced school principal, but he wasn’t always that way and now must deal with the consequences of a past action that he doesn’t really remember.  Rina is not happy with her current job situation and arrives to help Justin, hoping to impress her boss, only she doesn’t count on her being attracted to Justin.  And then her boss comes to town causing some major trouble.
The story is intriguing with its mix of holiday cheer, romance, suspense and achievement.  The author conveys all the emotions and mystery in a way that will keep the reader entertained from beginning to end.
The author has created a unique and fascinating paranormal town that is intriguing and enchanting.   The bewitching characters and cute, fun romance leaves the reader with a warm hearted feeling and wanting more.
We learn more about this wonderful paranormal town and this interesting concept of the holiday myths is fascinating.  I loved some of her fun and quirky dialogue that added a fun depth to this fascinating tale and I really wish the story hadn’t ended so soon. I can’t wait to read more in this awesome series.

    Really enjoyed!

I enjoyed reading Justin's story. Justin had no clue he was Santa's executive until Rina, an elf, calls him to give him an update. Things really get interesting when Rina goes to Holiday to train Justin.
