Editorial Reviews

Library Journal
This trio of contemporary Christmas novellas by three award-winning authors runs the gamut from Janet Dailey's "The Healing Touch," a sweet and very traditional story of a veterinarian, a goat, a little girl, and her dad, to Jennifer Greene's "Twelfth Night," a funny, modern, and steamy tale in which a newborn's unexpected arrival radically changes a few Christmas plans and the hero's attitude toward marriage. Patricia Gardner Evans rounds out the mix with "Comfort and Joy," a warm story of two mature people who are surprised by love and a Christmas snowstorm that coincidentally provides all the requisite characters for the Christmas story. [Note: "The Healing Touch" is an expanded version of the New Readers story by the same name that Dailey published under Laubach Literacy's Signal Hill imprint in 1994.]
