    Beware, once you start...

    I started with this book and loved it. I then bought all the books in the series. Yes they are slightly predictable..You know that each book is a quest for a gem and other things that follow suit, (won't divulge to ruin for anyone who hasn't read) but the characters are very likable, the humor grabs at you, and you just want to see it done from start to finish.

    Highly recommended...What an excellent story.

    I read this free book and purchased the other 6 in the series and read them one right after the other. Great storyline and well developed characters. Will be reading his other series.

    Loved it!

    I loved this book, it started out slow but it gets very interesting, just get past the first few chapters and your hooked. I told my mom about this and she liked it too, so its an AWESOME book to read!!!!!!

    This book started a little slow, but became interesting very quickly. I am now on the 5th book and can't wait to finish the series.

    Hooked on this series and of course I'm going to get the rest of the series. Never boring . The farther you get into the book the more exciting things get.

    I want more of these books.

    Great reading. Very intertaining. Has lots of twists and turns that keep you guessing. An author that has a rare flair for putting you in the action.

    Entertaining Read

    Highly recommended, this book is packed full of adventure and magic that isnt over the top. Two seemingly ordinary sons of fishermen find out that it isnt safe for them to stay in the security of their village, but instead must venture out of the safety they have always known to the open road where bandits run rampant. But they are being followed closely by something far more dangerous...but thats only the start

    Do NOT BUY!

    The plot was confusing and I was puzzeled by the sides stories going on. Where did the fathers go? I could not read beyond the first few chapters!

    Really should get!!!

    Omg awsomest book ever i love it and im only ten it is an awsome fantasy story for children, teens, and adults! Its very iteresting and i couldnt wait to read again if i wasnt reading it.

    Good

    A little slow at the beginning but awesome once the storyline picked up. I can not believe how extensive the series is! I definitely want to read the other six books in this series as well as the other two related series (wish they were free though!)

    Awsome

    The begining is a bit slow aand it starts out with multiple perspectives, it talks about a bunch diffrent people who seem to be totally unrelated, but later on all the important charactors meet and combine into PURE AWSOMENESS XD read the book, youll understand whatI mean. By the end of the book, youll be dieing to get the rest of the seres. btw wish I could put 465,798,351,096.3 stars :)

    Please read this review!

    This book was a really great page turner! I found myself going up to bed early just to read this. I would recommend this book to an adventure book lover, or really just anyone! Always, without a doubt five stars! Lots of surprises really capture my attention, and this is what this book did. After this you should read two through seven. Is there any chance I can get a free copy? :)

    Um?

    I'm 145 pages into this and honestly find it boring, unoriginal and somewhat poorly written. The language is inconsistent as well. I'm trying to give it a fair chance but life is short and there are a lot of books out there. Does this book get better? Is there anyone like me who felt this way at first but pushed on and were glad they did?
