Sapphires is a good story that speaks to the subtle nuances of point of view. Henry makes the reader feel sympathy for both sides of the conflict. This is hard to do well but Sapphires does it with excellance. At the end you may feel, 'I should have known,' but if you can guess the final twist, you are psychic.

A well written book that makes one think what really happens behind the scenes in war. I wonder what the twist will be in the authors next book. I can't wait.

The book is very exciting and reads like an action movie and would easily make the transfer. The plot is well thought out and not at all contrived. The characters are quite real and could easily be developed further in another adventure.

Easy, but good reading. Ending of each chapter makes you want to go on to the next. Very good story line, with underlying philosphy of the story quiet thought provoking. The part about how women could easily control the world was great and so true. Overall, a good read.

Thoroughly entertaining and thought provoking. I'll take it before my discussion group because it brings out many different concepts. A very good, short read.

I found the action exciting and the historical information interesting. The twists in the plot mirror current discussions in our military and government. Good to see the points of view of both the antagonist and protagonist for a change. A good read!

Sapphires is both entertaining and thought provoking. It is easy reading. It's fiction, and, at first, I thought too light, but it turned out to be very entertaining, and excellend for discussion, both with individuals and in a group.
