    A perfect start for children into this kind of thinking....

    Not into the New Age? Have no idea what the Law of Attraction is? Not into heavy duty Positive Visualizations? Well, this book might actually be for you. It is a baby step into the world of self-help. You will get as much out of this book as you are willing to put in. Read it just as a story... a cute story it will be. Read it as a philosophy for life... and it might become just that!

    All of the sara books are perfect!

    I love all of the Sara books so far. You really learn and understand the principles of the Law of Attraction. Book 2 is my favorite and book 1 is my second favorite. If you don't understand all of these self help books on the Law of Attraction, then this should help you. It's entertaining and informative.

    captivating

    This was the most delightful story, I absulutely loved it. It's a fantastic way to learn. I also read Sara,book 2 and I can't wait for the next in the series.

    For kids of all ages!

    Wonderful book. Shows how everyone learns and falls sometimes. Teaches us to lighten up and keep going. LOVE little Sara. She is in each one of us. I can read this over and over again.

    A book which make you think about your life.

    I like the books, which make you think about your life and this is one of them. I already read couple of books from Hicks, but I have to say. This one is my second best.

    It will show you a simple way how you can change your old perception, feelings and reactions to an every day life situations.

    The New Genie

    Sara meets an owl that teaches her that there is no death, that she can change her life through positive thinking, and about the mysterious Law of Attraction (a concept written about in the early 1900s by William Walker Atkinson). Sara is an adorable character. She starts off slightly bitter and not so friendly with her little brother, but as she starts to practice the principles that her owl friend, Solomon, discusses with her, she sees her life improve right before her very eyes. She is so excited about the mystical laws of the universe! This book tickled my heart and filled me with all sorts of warm fuzzy feelings. There is a wonderful sequence where Sara flies about in the night. But by morning, she is grounded. In the same way, I was too taken on a magical flight through this book, only to be reminded by the end that it was time to come back to earth. So go on the magic carpet ride with Sara and Solomon--take pleasure in the thought of these wonderful universal laws that put you in absolute control of your life--but remember that this philosophy is a modern day version of the genies of old. Outside of that, this is a fun story that can be enjoyed by all. Just do not give the philosophy any more credence than you would the philosophies found in Peter Pan. Though there is nothing wrong with encouraging children to think happy thoughts so they can fly.

    We read this as a family!! We have all learned so much...

    I bought this book to read for "family time" at night before bed. My husband and I have learned SO MUCH from reading this book. The information is presented in such a "rememberable" way that it's impossible not to learn something. My 12 year old son and my 8 year old son have also taken the principles in the book and started applying them to their lives. The information is presented in such a fun, entertaining way. Very well written. EVERYONE should read this book!!! I can't wait to read the 2nd...
