    Sarah Palin

All of Sarah Palin books are wonderful to read. She is just an honest down to earch mother/politician. It is nice to read about one for a change as they usually are all high and all mighty. I have 3 of here books and ordering 2 more and cann't wait to get to read. Good reading and highly recommend.

A Book of Voting Records and Statistics

I purchased this book on-line, seeking to learn more about Sarah Palin in view of her provocative run for VP in 2008. Knowing how polarizing she was - a lightening rod more than a maverick - it was part of my quest to absorb more information prior to her expected future campaign for President. The book's prose was not very original, as many of the details of her bio were by now, common knowledge to those following politics. The better part of the book is simply facts, created in a bullet-point format, and categorized by topic. I found the book informative but a boring read, as it simply stated her voting record since the beginning of her career in public office. It would have been more user-friendly had it been peppered with personal stories, news reports, etc., rather than strictly "This is how she voted on this." Wouldn't really recommend it unless your goal is to learn strictly about her voting record. To learn more about Sarah Palin, the person, a better read was the self-entitled book by Kaylene Johnson.
