This was a pretty enjoyable shifter read but I had a little trouble connecting with Sasha's character being in high school. At eighteen, Sasha shows at times she's self-centered and immature. I found myself feeling sorry for Savron. For me the book was one of those, I liked it but didn't love it.

This story was only 97 pages. It was a good concept but was rushed. It would have been a much better story if author took the time to hold a little more in depth in the characters and story line.

This book and series is one of my favorites. It made me want a lion of my own. I enjoyed the writing and storyline. Hazel Gower is a wonderful author with a great sense of what her readers would enjoy. I cannot wait until the next in the series is out so I can devour it too.

97 pages of editing error and emotional messes. This isn't even a novella but a novellata or short story. Rush scences development and then rushed scenes. Too much. It should have been 50 cents.
