Introduction

The author encourages and inspires readers to never give up in the face of adversity, because it is there that we grow stronger. Using biblical principles, she teaches the importance of casting the spirit of fear out of your heart. She helps readers to put a plan of spiritual warfare into action through Scripture and prayer.

1 Spiritual Warfare for the Strong-Willed, Disobedient, Rebellious, Disoriented, Despondent, Backslidden, or Problem Children

The author shows readers how to establish the attitude of peace in the home rather than allowing chaos and problems to overwhelm the family. She teaches the power of unconditional love to overcome every obstacle. She introduces readers to the powerful weapons of spiritual warfare and prayer at our disposal and advises parents to avoid controlling prayers.

2 The Parental Influence

This chapter teaches about the powerful positive influence a father can have upon his children if he prioritizes his life to include adequate time with his children. She advises parents to be good examples and teaches mothers to be vigilant.

3 Your Children’s Inheritance

This chapter reveals how to form your children’s character. It gives examples for celebrating a son’s masculinity and teaches how to empower your children. It lays a biblical foundation using paraphrased Scripture.

4 Preparation to Enter Into the Enemy’s Camp

Readers will learn how to build up their faith and will share stories of answered prayer. The author teaches how to avoid passing judgment and how to avoid guilt and condemnation. We learn the keys to binding and loosing and are given instruction for training mighty little warriors.

5 Praying for Our Children

This chapter includes examples for how to pray for our children in twenty specific categories, including: to know Jesus early; to have a hatred for sin and a respect for authority; for a hedge of protection and the protection of angels; to stay pure until marriage; for wisdom and understanding; and to grow strong in spirit and to gain knowledge and prosper.

6 Bringing Down Strongholds

The author teaches the principles for bringing down demonic strongholds, including: hidden secrets, demonic attacks, deliverance from darkness, and becoming redeemed from the law. She introduces the Lord who is able to redeem and deliver our children, and teaches parents to pray for the Lord to lead their children in all their ways.

7 God’s Promises for Parents

This final chapter is loaded with God’s promises for parents. It provides powerful prayers that parents can pray and gives a declaration of faith that parents can use.

    Incredibly helpful explanations!

A friend recommended this book to me, and she was right! Iris explains this concept so well, and you can read the book in less than an hour!
I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to understand the works of the enemy in the lives of your children, as well as how to pray for them in the power and authority of Christ!
