    Not good

    For a third edition, this book isn't edited very well. There are numerous typos, and MANY mathmatical errors. Standard values for things such as speed of light, circumferance of the earth, distance of geostationary satelites, etc...are wrong more often than not. I suggest anyone using this book to google for accuracy all things that Roddy says are standard. The answers to the sample problems are sometimes wrong, so it is very difficult to learn form this book. When a formula gets busy, Roddy doesn't work it out, he just throws into mathcad and you get an answer. Not a good book for beginers or intermediates.
