The author offered a great background for someone who hasn't read a good football tactics
book in a while (~3 years or so) as well as given a good view on the changing arena of high school football.
The exposition of each of the tactics being done really helped me get back up to speed on the whole
thought process in the coach's (and active spectator's) mind.
My math-nerd background also greatly appreciated the good explanation of the statistics involved with the plays.
All in all, I would recommend this to the reader who really wants to get a grasp on what all is being done
in one of the best games (if not the best) ever made. This book makes me honestly want to
argue/discuss with other people what the future is going to be and what can be done to make teams great.

The authors understanding and description of high school football was deeply educational, even without the statistics tutorial. If high school coaches read this book, understand its points, and apply its lessons I believe that they will become more successful. If you are not a coach, I think you will still find the story told in the book to be very interesting.
