Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher

"This is a nursing text book to end all text books as this is so comprehensive and the chapters are well set out and it does not take the reader long to navigate around the book...This is written especially for the nursing students to pass the NCLEX-PN exam. It is still a valuable resource for the nursing student in the UK. As this is so comprehensive, this is a book to refresh the newly qualified nurse and would be a valuable resource in any nursing university or hospital library."

    Best Book Ever!

After buying this book, my grades increased by 1 letter grade. The layout is easy to understand, the rationale for the answers were very helpful and the content was straight to the point. I would recommend this book to ALL LPN students.

    Great book !

My only regret is not to have had this book while in the LPN program I was in. Each chaper is an organized, no non-sense, clear review on body systems, illnesses, meds, and lab values. Each chapter end with a test that reinforces your knowledge and prepares you to the NCLEX exam (you can take the tests via the attached CD also). I acctually recommended this book to my teachers since I believe it would be a great additional tool to students all year alongside school books and a good refresher to have from time to time during a nursing career. I would recommend this book - and have - to anyone. I have studied it and it helped me pass successfully the NCLEX exam in february. It is worth every penny!!!!

A little Outdated, GREAT testing options

Though the approach to studying of this book closely matched the theory preparation I had (ADN), I found that a lot of the terms and drugs they used were outdated. That said, the CD testing option is really good, with helpful rationales for each possible answer. Overall, an ok resource.

    A reviewer

This book really prepares you. I loved the way it was set up. It takes out all of the guess work that you get with all your textbooks and gives you the info that you really need to understand every facet. The quizzes are great and I study them before every test and it has increased my test grades by over 10%.
