It was OK but didn't hold a candle to the first book. Story flows well, just didn't have the excitement and feeling of the first.

Favorite Quotes: “I swear my girl is going to get herself killed one of these days in a car or on a bike; she has two speeds, flat out and stop. She’s like that in life too.” “Surprisingly, Dane does as he’s told by this fiery little dynamo. It’s interesting to see such a big man being bossed around by such a small woman.” “…we all come with baggage. If she’s the right fit for you, you find room to unpack that baggage or better yet leave it behind.” My Review: I am enjoying this series. Savage Fire is an active and adventurous tale involving betrayal, double-crossing, mafia hit men, organized crime, abduction, sweet and sexy romance, and ongoing family drama. Whew, I could barely catch my breath. We find out the MC President has been working toward cleaning up their image, but not all the members have been following that same path. The sensual scenes sizzle and the sweet and endearing love connections continue to strengthen as well as provide entertaining levity and banter.

I give this book 3.5 stars. It was an okay read. I loved Sal. But Em kinda got on my nerves. All she did was cry, cry and more cry. I think there was only 2 chapters she didn't cry. I was read to scream at the book get a backbone woman. I get she went through ALOT. But good grief. Suck it up buttercup. Other than that it was a pretty good read. Loved seeing the guys from the first book. The ending was abrupt. Think there could have been a little more to it. So maybe we will get to see some more of Sal in other books. To many question left unanswered. Like where do they go now? What happens with Don? Do they stay there with her brother or does she move away. I guess we will have to see.

Hero of the day!!! Loved it!! Easily drawn in from the beginning and could not put down. Storyline is entertaining, action packed, contained humor, drama and bad boy hotness. On her way to visit her brother after the loss of their father, Emily Reynolds is saved twice by Salvatore Agostino, a captain of a mob family. Emily's a little naïve, sweet as honey but has a strong backbone to have endured her alcoholic father. Sal's a mafia bada** who is protective, possessive and known for being ruthless and deadly. With Emily though we see a different side of his character. Loved their interaction and chemistry. Would recommend. Can't wait for more. Received an ARC copy from author for a honest review.

I found myself slowing down my reading to make the book last longer. I am ready for the next book as I need answers. The author does an excellent job reeling you in deep on this book, there are some emotional things that happens that is not for the weak at heart. I think Kathleen Kelly has a natural ability to paint the picture on her characters, leaving just enough for you to fill in the blanks. I am hoping still for some of the future series to go more into Dave, Truth, and now I need more on Jonas. The list just keeps growing as she introduces more characters. I do recommend reading in order as the books seem to build on each other.

Overall Rating: 4.25 Rockin’ ★★★★ What happens when the President of the largest MC in the country comes up against one of the most powerful crime families in the country? Read Kathleen Kelly’s second book in the Savage Angels MC and find out! This is the unlikely love story of Emily Reynolds and Salvatore Agostino and not one you will want to miss! Salvatore Agostino is Captain for the Abruzzi crime family and he has never been accused of being a nice man. His rise was fast and resented by some of the older members. Sal had fought his way to the top and even though he was considered young for his position, he was loyal to his family. So when he was told to do something by the head of the family, he did not hesitate. On the way to take care of business, he rescues an innocent young woman, not once but twice. This woman touches Sal’s heart in a way that no one ever has before. She needs a keeper, someone to protect her. He maybe a member of a crime family, but he does not harm women! Emily has lived her entire life in an abusive home where her father abused and beat her mother. Her only protection had been her brother Dane and when their father kicked him out she was left alone. Now years later, Emily decides it is time to find Dane and let him know how she feels. Taking off from the hospital, where she had nursed their father until the end, she doesn’t think about what she is doing. On the way she is accosted at a rest room and is rescued by another man. Then she runs off the road and hits a tree! Once again the same man that saved her saves her again. Is this a coincidence? The feelings that her rescuer evokes are like none she has ever experienced before. When Emily and Sal find out more about each other, is there a chance for them? Will their backgrounds destroy them or will they come out on the other side together? Kathleen Kelly has done it again with this intricately woven tale of love going against all odds and winning! Hero: Salvatore Agostino 4.25 stars Heroine: Emily Reynolds 4.25 stars Steam: 4.25 stars Plot: 4.25 stars Cliffhanger: No

I loved this book just as much as the first. You could read this book without reading the first and not be too confused but I would suggest reading them in order. This book slightly before where the first one left off. Dane’s father has just pasted and his sister Emily has decided to wants to go to Dane and hurt him. She is mad that he left and never came back for her. That she had to deal with her father all by herself. She finds herself in trouble at a gas station and a stranger saves her. Then a couple hours from Tourmaline she crashes her car into a tree trying not to hit an animal. The same stranger saves her again. The stranger’s name is Salvatore and he has been sent to talk to Dane and the Savage Angels about running guns on the east coast. There is something about Emily that draws Sal in. He wants to protect and provide for her, but she may not be strong enough to fit into his world. Once in town he finds out that Emily is Dane’s sister this changes somethings for him. Makes him wonder if she is a plant but he quickly discovers this isn’t true. Then Emily goes missing. Dane doesn’t have a clue what is going on. His sister has come to town with a known crime family member, his father has just died, he is worried for Kat’s safety again, then Emily goes missing, and someone from his MC has been running guns behind his back. Everything is going to hell. This book had so much going on in it, but I never felt confused. Poor Emily has already been through so much. Now she has met this handsome stranger who has saved not once but twice. She is attracted to him but unsure how to act because she doesn’t have that much experience with men. He is being so kind to her, buying her clothing and helping her with her brother. Dane wants to get to know his sister since he has never really had the chance before. I love how all the people come together when they need to. It doesn’t matter that the MC and the crime family do things differently they come together to find Emily and take care of the people that wanted to hurt her. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series. Kathleen Kelly is one of my new favorite author for sure. I was given this book in return for an honest review.

4 star I was pulled right into this story. The story flowed well I was kept interested. The story has laughs, pain, suspense, twist and turns, secrets, abuse, kidnapping, and heartbreak.  If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first Savage Stalker (Savage Angels MC, #1) This is Emily and Salvatore’s story. Emily wants her brother Dane to suffer since he left her to take care of her horrible father.  She has traveled for days and Salvatore picks her up after she is involved in an accident.  He takes her to the town she needs to go to but they never knew they were in town to see the same person.  Will Emily still want Dane to pay for what she believes are his mistakes with her?   Emily and Salvatore spend time together but she finds out some secrets and walks away from him.  When she is taken will he be able to work with her brother to get her back?  If they get her back will she ever be the same?   I loved these characters and also a few of the side characters. I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.  I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story from this author.
