Jake Savage is self-made entrepreneur. His newest venture into the off-shore oil drilling business looks promising. The only down-side is, he needs a work place psychologist at the site to deal with the stressors of working on a floating barge in the middle of the ocean. Dr. Charlie Baxter-Hughes is looking for a change of pace from a big city hospital setting so when the prospect of a job on an oil rig presents itself, she doesn't hesitate in applying. Dropped off in the middle of a tropical storm, Jake does not realize his hiring mistake until it's too late to send her packing. Jake does not allow women on or near his oil drilling projects. The tension and sexual attraction between the two make for a volatile relationship. Will they be able to work together or will someone's vendetta for revenge get them killed?
