Dalia wants to start her life over, but she didn’t count on that life involving two shape-shifting alpha males.

When a fight with the Alphas of the Luecross pack forces mates, Alric and Sam, to either submit or leave, the males take the latter option. They could never bow down no matter how much their instincts tell them to obey.

After leaving the pack they'd always known, Alric and Sam take residence high in the mountains, answering to no one but themselves. But when Dalia, a lost and injured female wolf stumbles upon their home, the two wolves know that they have found their mate…in a female. Two males finding out they share the same mate isn't a rarity, but for these two Luecross wolves, it will take everything in their power to curb the beasts inside that demand supremacy.

Dalia is running from an abusive past. When two rough and savage looking men save her from imminent death, Dalia senses safety and protection with the unknown wolves. As she heals physically and mentally, she finds herself fighting the powerful pull her mind and body have towards the two males.

But submitting her body and emotions to the two wolves isn’t the only thing she has to worry about. With her past threatening to take her away from the only happiness she has ever felt in her life, Dalia must decide if she is going to submit to a dark past, or give in to the men that have taught her there is more to life than fear and pain.

Meet the Author

Jenika is just your average woman. She lives in the too hot northeast with her husband and their young daughter. Thankfully, he shares her unusual sense of humour and naughty nature, so finding material for her stories isn’t a problem.

Along with taking care of their daughter, they have to keep an eye on Milo and Otis, their spunky cats. When not writing, Jenika works full-time and attends nursing school. Writing is Jenika's number one passion, but since life gets in the way, she isn't able to write full-time (at least not yet).

Jenika started writing at a very young age when her first story consisted of a young girl who traveled to an exotic island and found a magical doll. That story has long since disappeared, but her passion for writing hasn’t.

Excerpt From: Savage

"I can’t fucking take it anymore, Sam." Alric snapped his gaze to his lover, Samuel. "I can’t stay with the pack anymore. I can’t follow someone else’s rules."

"I think you’re getting a little worked up."

Alric stopped pacing and narrowed his eyes at Samuel. "A little worked up? I think it’s time for a change. I don’t work well under the command of alphas."

"They are our alphas." Samuel sounded so genuine and logical, but Alric knew his mate, knew that Sam was just as unhappy living with the pack as he was, even if he didn’t admit it.

Alric ran his hand through his hair and felt the strands stand on end. "No, they might be your alphas, but I was never meant to follow." Alric walked over to Samuel and sat beside him. "It isn’t just that, Sam. I want to leave and I want you to come with me." He stared at his lover Samuel’s light blue eyes and blond hair that made him seem innocent, a contrast to his towering frame and muscular physique.

They were both Luecross wolves, a species of shape shifters that could morph into either their human or wolf self at will. Living high in the mountains of Colorado should have ensured a peaceful and undisturbed existence, but as more and more of his kind found their mates living within the human population, Alric started to feel the congestion in the pack.

Alric was pleased that so many of his brethren had found their mates, that one person whom they could share their mind, body and soul with—hell, Alric had found his own when he had seen Samuel—but with more and more humans being revealed to be Luecross wolves’ mates and moving into their small community, Alric felt the need to branch off and start a life of his own, one that didn’t have rules and authoritative figures barking out orders.

He was a grown adult, could decide what was best for himself, but as he looked at Samuel, he knew that if his mate refused to leave with him, he wouldn’t be able to face life without him.

Alric had known instantly that Samuel was his mate from the moment he had scented him. Being a high ranking Luecross wolf in their small community meant Alric could help make decisions that affected the whole pack, but as time passed and responsibilities had been thrust upon him, Alric knew this wasn’t the life for him, at least not if he planned on a family with Sam.

It wasn’t just about not wanting to follow their alphas’ orders, it was also about wanting to start a life outside of the pack with Samuel. He wanted a family, and although he could have all of that if he stayed within the tight community of the pack, he wanted it to be just him and Samuel, alone and on their own. Some would call that selfish, and maybe it was, but Alric was ready to take that step if Samuel was.

Alric stared at Sam, his hair damp from his recent shower and swept across his forehead. He smelt good, like clean soap. Sam’s chest was bare and the muscles rippled just under his bronzed skin.

He watched as his mate took a deep breath and closed his eyes momentarily.

"I’ll go wherever you do, Alric. You know I love you. You are my mate and I’m stuck with you for the rest of my life." Sam smiled, the teasing note in his voice bringing relief to Alric.

Alric leant forward and brought his lips to Samuel’s. Placing his hands on his mate’s chest, his felt the muscles flex under his palm. "It has been a while since we’ve had a good fuck, baby." Murmuring against Samuel’s lips, he could smell his lover’s arousal thicken the air.

"We’ve been too damn irritable and stressed to think about sex."

Samuel was right, and Alric felt guilty for not showing him enough attention. He would make it up to him, though, and they would leave the pack and start a life elsewhere.

Alric ran his hands down Sam’s chest. Once he reached the fly and button of his mate’s jeans, Alric felt his pulse increase from arousal. He snapped the button free of its home and lowered the zipper. The sound was erotic and Alric’s cock stiffened in response. Alric slipped his hands beneath Samuel’s jeans and smiled against his mouth at the fact that his mate wore no underwear.

"You naughty boy. Free ballin’ it again, I see." Samuel chuckled in response and swiped his tongue along Alric’s. Groaning from the contact, Alric opened for his mate and titled his head to accept the kiss more passionately. He stroked his tongue along Sam’s. The taste of wild, aroused male filled Alric’s senses and caused his shaft to throb.
