Meet the Author

Martha Nesbit served as food editor, food columnist, and restaurant reviewer for the Savannah Morning News for twenty-five years and has been a regular food columnist for Savannah Magazine since 1998. She has collaborated with Paula Deen on four cookbooks. She lives in Savannah with her husband.

Erin Adams's portfolio includes food, architecture, and editorial work. She studied art at the Art Institute of Colorado and developed her personal style working in the commercial photography industry in Boston before returning to her native Savannah.

    Simple, Delicious & Southern!

    I followed the Roast Turkey & Cornbread Dressing recipe on page 174 to cook my "first ever" turkey dinner. It was SO good my family asked me to cook the turkey & dressing again next year.....Savannah Celebrations is easy to follow & has lots of yummy recipes......a few more family favorites.......The Pan Fried Flounder, Baked Garlic Cheese Grits and Zucchini Bread.
