Editorial Reviews

Reader - The First Kindle
A very unique story told from ten year old Savannah Dawn's point of view.
The author writes in such a way I felt drawn to the child and as if I (alone) were privy to her most inner thoughts. If it weren’t for the occasional humor the sadness in Savannah Dawn’s life/dreams would be unbearable for this reader. This is a short story approximately twenty pages and I should say no more except I found it thoroughly entertaining.

I agree with KT's review but want to add this short story is frightening, funny and seems to carry a much deeper meaning. I could literally visualize this kids life and family. I loved that tiny mystery plot revealed ever so subtly. Highly recommend sacrificing a dollar and an hour of your time.

A brilliant and sophisticated plot revealed through the words of a child. A word of caution: the story is narrated by a child but this is NOT a children's book. It is quite graphic at times and brutal but not more than you might expect from a thriller. I wish I could give it ten stars. * * * * * * * * * *
