Meet the Author

I grew up reading Judy Blume, and Nancy Drew books. I was raised in the town of North Valley Stream, New York(Long Island), and attended community college for fashion design. At 19 years old I opened a boutique. Recently, I published my second novel Beautiful Lies(erotica). Saving Abel(Erotic-Rock-Romance) will be my third and will be published June 30th. When I'm not writing, you can find me with friends and family. I live in Massapequa, NY with my two beautiful boys PJ and Drew, and our Mastiff Hercules. Reading has always been a passion and obsession. You can usually find me typing furiously while shouting obscenities over my latest WIP. My guilty pleasures are: a good laugh, being snarky, espresso, Pistachio ice-cream, alternative music, sunflower seeds, I.P.A's, twizzlers, and above all steamy swooning angst filled novels. I'm pathologically obsessed with True Blood(Eric ;), Games of Thrones, White Queen, Vampire Diaries, Resurrection, and The Originals. If you'd like to chat. Hit me up on Facebook or twitter.

Saving Abel is the first book of the Rockers series by Gina Whitney. Lethal Abel lead singer Abel Gunner is more than your typical "bad boy" rock star. He's a true Dom through and through, right down to the bone. Gia is a women with secrets that has decided she'll get him even before she meets him. After meeting him she decides she'll do whatever it takes to keep him, even become his sub. This book is one hot, hard, twisted, and sweaty ride! At the very beginning I didn't like either of them very much, but I kept going and started to see what was beyond the surface. These two people have been battered and nearly broken by what life has thrown at them, yet they keep going. Their path to finding each other and then to truly knowing each other was one that I couldn't stray away from. There forces from without and within that are doing their best to tear them apart. WARNING: This book does end in a cliff-hanger. I was so enthralled with Abel & Gia's story that I immediately purchased the second book in the series. I received this book for a fair and honest review. All opinions are completely my own.

This was a fantastic read! Gina Whitney wrote an exceptional story that had hot sex and the type of characters that keep me wanting more. I love that Abel and Gia are damaged in their own ways from how they were raised by imperfect parents. I was rooting for them as they began to make peace with their demons and started working toward opening up to one another. The ending of this book hit me hard and really has me craving the next book in the series. The blend of sex, emotions, and rock & roll makes this a 10 in my book. I can't wait to read more and find out what happens!

Saving Abel is the first book in the Rockers series by Gina Whitney. Abel Gunner is the lead singer of the band named Lethal Abel. He is a true rock star and alpha male. Abel has the looks and voice that will make any woman weak in the knees; and a reputation that makes him famous, for his sexual escapades. He is a true Dom. After meeting Gia, Abel knows that he must get her to submit to him. Gia is broken and full of secrets. She lives in fear of her lies being exposed and loosing Abel once he finds out. But despite her insecurities and fears she allows Abel into her heart; even if it means that she may end up hurt. They quickly become consumed with one another and as a result have an intense relationship. The plot has some mouth watering scenes and the characters all have chemistry. Gina Whitney’s characters draw you in and leave you wanting more. This is a true rock star series!

This is book one in the Rocker Series I gave this book 4.5 stars. This is Abel & Gia's story. It goes back and forth in POV's. Gia is instantly attracted to this man, to the point of obsession. She just can't seem to stay away. She feels unworthy of him, but that doesn't stop her from doing everything to pursue him. Abel is unable to resist spending some time with Gia, but he feels the pull towards her too and wants to dominate all of her.  This is the ultimate rocker, dom book.  Who could ask for more when you combine two favorites together! An alpha hot male who knows what he wants and goes after it.  These two set the pages on fire. I cannot wait for book two. Thank you Gina for captivating me into a new world. You don't want to miss this book ..

Where do I start with this review? It was so hot, so life-like, that I forgot I was reading a book. The sex scenes were so vivid, I could visualize them and made me wish that I was Gia. The rock scenes made me feel like I was at a concert. Rock star god, Abel Gunner, was not one to settle down with one girl. Until he met Gia. She haunted his thoughts, his dreams. She fulfilled all of his dirtiest BDSM fantasies. Little does he know that she comes from a family of gold diggers.   I must admit, Abel Gunner is now my new long term book boyfriend. He is such a badass that it is appealling to me. Gina Whitney, you may have just become my new favorite author! I LOVED Saving Abel. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would. But since I can't, I give it a full five stars!! Reviewed by: Amber

Saving Abel was an enthralling story from start to finish. I couldn't put this book down once I started. It completely hooked me. I couldn't turn the pages fast enough, because each chapter left me wanting more. The POVs switched between Abel and Gia, and that made the book even better. Both Gia and Abel are completely broken in different yet alike ways. It was nice to get inside both of their heads to see what was going on. The world-building was well crafted. With Gina's writing, I was able to picture everything going on in the story. I felt as if I was right there with the characters.  Abel and Gia grew so much by the end of the story. They both realized they needed to battle their demons. I was really rooting for them. The only thing that I wish I got to see more of was their connection on a deeper level. I really wanted to see them get to know each other and watch their relationship grow from that. Gia and Abel fell in love with each other, but it felt a little rushed. It didn't take from the story though. I just wanted something to be deeper between them. There wasn't a character in Saving Abel that I didn't like, except Morgana. I really wanted to wring her neck. The band mates were awesome. I loved how they had each others backs no matter what.  Gia got a job working for Abel's father in hopes of meeting Abel to better herself. It was all about the money at first, and I really didn't like Gia because of that. But as the story progressed, I learned that it really wasn't Gia's fault. When she meets Abel, a sizzling connection happens between them. It was just flat out hot. Gia does whatever she can to keep Abel's attention. The more time she spends with him, Gia realizes that Abel isn't the guy she thought he was. Abel also had a rough upbringing. He never had the closeness, comfort and love from anyone therefore had to be in control at all times. He became a DOM. He wanted who was his to completely submit to him. And the person he wanted was Gia. The more time he spent with her, he started to feel things he never felt before. Gia became his, and boy did he turn into a caveman alpha male. By gosh, I loved that about him!!!! Gia and Abel really need each other to pull them out of the abyss in which they sunk. But with people trying to sabotage their relationship, will they be able to pull themselves out or sink into an even darker abyss than what they started?  Saving Abel was a beautifully written story that I will definitely be reading. And wowzers. There is a huge, huge cliffhanger at the end of this book that definitely left me wanting more. Gina did a fantastic job with that. I kept trying to turn the page wishing that there was something else after it, but no luck. I can't wait to get my hands on Forgiving Gia!!! I highly recommend this book!!!

I loved the book Saving Abel....except it should be clearly stated this book is Part 1 of a series or trilogy, and not a complete story. I prefer to wait and read the complete story once all parts are published. Otherwise great writer and so far, good story.

Gina Whitney has done it again, I love her writing but Saving Abel has a whole new feel from her other books. There's so much drama unfolding, never a dull moment. This book is the hottest book of 2014  by far!  Abel is one hot alpha that will have the ladies screaming for more. The cliffhanger leaves you breathless, I really wanted to throw something, I need more Abel like yesterday!! This is one series I can't get enough of. The characters are hilarious, love the environment and connection that was created. If I had to choose a favorite character it would have to be Ender hands down! He is such a ladies man, sexy and latin...mmmm. Id def take him home. Gotta love Gia though she's fighting her own demons but trying to handle being the sub of a dom rock star, who has his own demons to battle. I wont say more, I dont want to leave any spoilers but I will say if you want a hot read, I def recommend Saving Abel, because it doesnt get too much hotter than this!!
