Five thousand years in the future, mankind has spread halfway across the galaxy. Almost two sextillion humans, living on nearly a billion worlds, are still rebuilding from a Galactic Civil War the end of which gave rise to the Imperium. But for some people, the fighting continues….

Shepard Bellator, one of the twelve members of the Imperator’s recently disbanded Caelian Guard, has been charged with ending the ambitions of Skel Stottle, a crime boss and weapons dealer who is on the verge of starting another Civil War to bring down the Imperator.

Tasked to work as a lone agent to give the Imperator some measure of deniability, Shepard must not only avoid using any resources among the Imperial Forces but he must also achieve his objective without incurring enough collateral damage to set off another conflict and end the already fragile concord....

Saving Concord is an intriguing story with a protagonist you both love and hate. Shepherd Bellator comes from humble beginnings and strives for greatness and meaning. He finds it in the Emperor's service but must lose his past first. Full of great sci-fi imagery and a plot that twists back and forth keeping you guessing about whose agenda is really whose I give it a thumbs up and recommend you give it a chance. I think you'll be happily surprised.

I got this book as a christmas gift and I have to say I'm impressed! There's a ton of detail, but it's not the boring kind. Very fast pased with some very cool characters. The technology is pretty awesome as well, you can tell that a lot of thought went into this. I hope there's more!

Exciting read. Very good first novel! Great sense of "what's going to happen next?!" that pulls you in. Thorough descriptions give you a clear picture of Shepard's world. Looking forward to Reconciliation!

    Definately worth a read.

He has some very original ideas, that make it a cool story. For a first book I thought it was a great start. Although there were other aspects in the book that could have been expanded on, all in all I thought it was a great first novel.
