Overview

For thirty-eight years Dandy James has only known farm life in Grady, Tennessee, her marriage, her children and her future arranged by her father. Daily, she endures the wrath of a man who stays with her for the sole purpose of acquiring her land.
Colin has led a rich, swinging life, enjoying all the vices wealth has to offer. He barely knows his children, and has no emotional connection to his wife. His job as a land developer is the only thing keeping him sane.
The two meet on a stormy night when Colin crashes his car into a ditch. Dandy breathes life back into him, and he knows she's an angel sent to change his ways, save his soul and love him for eternity. As he speaks tender words to her, words like she has never heard before, Dandy knows she is irrevocably in love with him.
Life is worth living again-worth fighting for. Dandy quickly repairs her distant relationship with her son and begins to investigate her property and why it had been listed as potentially available. Colin and his wife separate, and he learns his teenage daughter is pregnant.
Together, Colin and Dandy sort through the lies, and the evil Dandy's husband has been hiding. She remembers a painful detail of her past and begins searching for answers. For the first time in her life she has a friend, a real friend she can trust. Colin is there for her through the discoveries, and realizations too painful for her to bear alone. Will she ever be free? Can anyone save Dandy James?
