Starting at D-Day and a whole mission a crew of soldiers are sent out to rescue the last surviver of the Ryan brothers. It is an exciting, funny, sad, and good historic book.

Saving Private Ryan was an awesome account of the largest land invasion in the history of men. The movie had a plot, character developement, and a great storyline.

hello i am 14 years old still in highschool. i just relized that after watching this movie i am very lucky to not be alive during that war.I feel very depressed every time i watch that movie.Tom Hanks could'nt have done a better job in that movie. Also Steven is a great director and producer.

one kick *** movie worth watching.some funny parts that absorbed some of the shock of the horrifying realism and gore!11.5 out of 10! tom hanks' best movie yet . excellent plot and storyline . after i saw it i went on the internet and printed the few pictures i could find and posted them in my locker . see it if you can , but if you are squeemish on blood , well , be ready to lose you squeemish tendencies . At the end you feel awestruck at the whole preformance , good nonethelesss . I love Barry Peppers character.
