I was intrigued from the first page and it does not allow you to stop reading. I was surprised at how many interesting twists and turns there were. Saving Grace centers around a cheating husband and takes you on a thrill ride thanks to a computer genius, Sam Case, and the wild involvement of Donovan Reed. Donovan has invested a large sum of money with Sam Case. Sam has found a way to hide money from the government by moving it from bank to bank. He does this for Donovan along with several other wealthy people, some who are not savory characters that are hiding money from the government. Someone has found out and has kidnapped Sam's wife, Rachel, and has tormented him numerous ways while trying to get Sam to turn over the money and information. Donovan Reed has to save Sam Case from all the corrupt bad guys. If Sam doesn't give up the information he and Rachel may be killed. There are double and triple identity surprises, so many points of view and shock value that keeps knocking you off your feet. I'll have to say that this was definitely a thrill beyond measure. How do you choose between someone you are enamored with and someone you have a long history with? Add in murder, kidnapping, hidden money and more betrayal than anyone would think possible - you can' t tell the truth from lies which makes this a book I couldn't put down until I had finished it.

In Saving Rachel, millionaire Sam Case is taken on a wild ride that shifts and turns faster than his beloved Audi R8 in a high-speed chase. He thinks after such a great morning, the day can only get better. But, by the time the spinning stops an Sam begins to put the puzzle pieces together, there may not be enough time to save her or himself.

Initially the book and story were very good. I was happy with it until the last 50 pages or so. After that the author tried way too hard to shock people and just lost depth in everything he had built up. Not bad for the price but you get what you pay for!

Riveting and not put downable. This story of infidelity pushes the limits and you're not sure of things until the end. The exhilarating plot twists are a roller coaster ride of mystery. The standard cheating husband story quickly turns into a fast-paced race to discover who is out to get Sam. You can never be certain of the villains and the saviors. You are never sure if the good guy is a bad guy or visa versa. Interesting, fun read!

I suspect the critics of this book fall into one of two categories. 1) They did not read the first two books, Lethal People and Lethal Experiment. If they had they would understand virtually all of the characters introduced in the last fifty pages. 2) They are publisher shills who are scared to death of John Locke.

This book was actually a dumb attempt at mystery and humor and it had no ending unless my download stopped at page 157 and there was more story left...and maybe I am happy that there was no more....either way, save your time and your money.

Saving Rachel is a thrilling novel that forced me to read it in it's entirety in just 1 day. For all the people that cheat or think about cheating on their significant other... pick this up and think about what you would do in such a situation. There are so many twists in this novel it's mind blowing. Locke did a superb job keeping the readers intrigued with Sam.

This was a really fun read. Ok, so the plot's not very deep, but it kept me guessing what would happen next. The author shows a lot of creativity.

First and foremost, all potential cheaters should read this novel. John Locke has created a novel that allows readers to think outside of the typical scenario of spouse and mistress situations. In this specific novel, Sam has to choose between saving his wife and saving his mistress. The end result is quite profound. Saving Rachel is a slight resemblance of scenarios of betrayal and untrustworthy aspects. The flow of this novel was quiet smooth, which consists of intellectual dialogues.

This is my 3rd Dovovan Creed novel and this was a turn paging, fast paced and twists at every turn type of story. It revolves around Donovan and the husband Sam and his wife Rachel. A little twisted with lots of turns and a tantalizing sexual overtone. Donovan is in love and what it takes to get his loved one is highly entertaining. Can't wait to read the second part of this two-part caper "Now & Then"

I really really liked the 1st and 2nd Donovan Creed books but this one strayed (no pun intended) too far from what I enjoyed about the first two. Thought-provoking premise but not what I was looking for, based on the first two books.

This is a continuation of the Jonathan Creed series. It has a lot of bizarre twists and turns that I loved. I would recommend reading the Creed series in order since each one builds on the last one.

Read the first two books before this one. Lethal people and Lethal experiment, this is shorter, but still a fast, entertaining read. Not literature by any means, but fun.
